About SCV's Food Hub
SCV Food Hub is Santa Clarita’s first off-premise food hall—fun, cool, unique, and innovative. Multiple kitchen concepts operate under one roof, and guests order meals, snacks, drinks, desserts, catering, and delivery to-go. Our team supports the full operation—front lobby experience and kitchen execution—so orders are accurate, fast, and high quality.
Position Summary
This is a cross-trained role for team members who can work both front-of-house Hub operations and back-of-house culinary stations. Depending on your strengths and business needs, you may be scheduled in the lobby, in a dessert station, or in one of our kitchen concepts.
Responsibilities
Hub Operations (Front Lobby + Pickup Flow)
- Greet guests, manage lobby flow, and keep the pickup experience organized
- Assist with kiosk ordering, modifications, and guest questions
- Answer phones and provide accurate ordering/pickup info
- Coordinate with kitchen teams to confirm order status and solve issues quickly
- Run prepared orders from kitchens to the pickup counter with urgency and accuracy
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized kiosks, lobby, and pickup areas
Culinary Responsibilities (BOH / Production Work)
- Work on the line and/or production stations: prep, assembly, cooking, finishing, and plating/packaging for off-premise orders
- Execute recipes, builds, and ticket times with consistency and speed
- Expo and order accuracy: verify items, portioning, packaging, labeling, and staging
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and station organization (FIFO, dating, temp logs as required)
- Restock, clean-down, and close stations to standard
- Be ready to learn multiple stations and support different areas as staffing demands change
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a real kitchen environment (heat, speed, knives/tools, sanitation standards)
- Strong communication skills and team-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced operation
- Excellent guest service skills when working lobby shifts
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays as needed, within 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM
