- *Preferred Background:* Experience with H&R Block or other tax firms is a plus!

Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare tax provisions, schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
- Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
- Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
- Need to maintain good client relationship
- Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
Important skills to thrive in this position
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Knowledge of independently preparing Individual and Business Taxes (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120)
- Experience of reviewing Individual / Business taxes and financial statements
- Knowledge of payroll and sales tax is preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communicator with great people skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Enjoys a fast paced environment with challenging work
- Good at multi-tasking
- Team oriented, but can also work independently
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Preferred experience:
- 1+ years of business and individual income tax preparation and review
- CPA/EA Preferred
- Quick Books proficient
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
