ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, mastering and cross-training on multiple pieces of complex equipment. Your primary focus will be safely and accurately transforming raw materials into precision-finished goods as dictated by individual customer work orders.
- Work Structure: Day Shift (7am-4pm) in a climate controlled environment
- Machine Setup & Adjustment: Set up, adjust, and safely operate essential production machinery including slitters, rewinders, lathe slitting systems, and presses to meet exact order lengths and widths.
- Order Verification: Read and systematically interpret work orders to guarantee final production conforms identically to blueprint and engineering specifications.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections using standard measuring devices; record precise time, material usage, and relevant packaging tracking data.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stage raw stock into appropriate machinery, while performing inventory pulls and keeping exact material counts.
- Product Protection: Neatly and securely package finished materials to ensure complete safety and preservation during warehouse storage and logistics shipping.
- Equipment Ownership: Maintain an immaculate workstation, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and execute routine preventative maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification, and/or 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience operating technical machine presses or slitters is highly preferred.
- Willingness to operate a forklift/pallet jack after training. Certifications are strong assets.
- Proficient baseline computer literacy and data entry competence across multiple software interfaces.
- Strong foundational math skills and the ability to master measurement tools
- Physical capability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and maintain extended periods of standing on industrial floor surfaces.
