Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic breakfast Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering meals with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience with POS is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Experience in hospitality roles such as host/host is a plus.
