Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems, ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance will help create a welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Electrical, lighting, mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in rooms.
- Drywall, ceiling, carpentry, ceramic flooring install and repair knowledge a plus.
- Plumbing Knowledge repair and install a plus.
- Proper use of power tools.
- Document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance projects
- Read understand and diagnose problems accurate.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards set in place by OSHA.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests related to maintenance promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform daily grounds keeping task in and around the property as needed.
- Assist the team with loading or unloading rooms equipment for the properties as needed
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hotel engineering roles with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and control.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members and vendors.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
- knowledge in outdoor grounds maintenance.
- Must be able to lift up to about 40 pounds
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
