Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, adhering to recipes and presentation standards to ensure top-quality dishes.
- Support kitchen management by supervising junior staff, coordinating shifts, and maintaining a positive team environment.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
- Contribute to menu planning and food production processes to meet customer expectations and dietary requirements.
- Oversee food service operations during shifts, ensuring timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service.
- Assist in catering events, banquet setups, and special functions with attention to detail and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, catering, or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or banquet services.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or managing teams as a chef or kitchen staff member.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems.
- Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts and hospitality service excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Prior experience in banquet operations, dietary departments, or large-scale food service is highly desirable.
