Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Assistant Customer Service Manager to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will support store operations by supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory and sales processes, and assisting with daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to help drive store success.
Duties
- Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Support staff training and development to ensure high levels of customer service
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising efforts
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Manage cashiering activities including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers
- Assist with scheduling shifts and managing team performance
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional displays to enhance sales
- Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and store presentation
Experience
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, and merchandising
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math
- Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training staff
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and executing store management responsibilities
- Familiarity with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store administration
- Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
