SBMA is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to work at our downtown San Diego office location. The Administrative Assistant (AA) is essential to SBMA's overall business operations and facilitates efficient office operations through a variety of clerical and administrative responsibilities.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and enjoys owning their work. This individual will become a trusted right hand to the team, helping keep daily operations running smoothly while anticipating needs, solving problems, and ensuring important tasks are completed. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Greeting visitors
- Picking up, sorting, and distributing mail
- General clerical work: maintaining files; sending/receiving professional correspondence; data entry; creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Office upkeep
- Inventory and supply stocking
- Assistance with planning and facilitating events
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to office processes, organization, and administrative procedures.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Competencies / Preferred Attributes

- One year of administrative/clerical experience
- One year of customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
