*Job Overview*-MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS OF PAID ER EXPERIENCE*
The Emergency Services department provides nursing and first aid to patients requiring emergency services; assists the physician in the examination and treatment of patients; prepares and maintains records of all emergency cases; and arranges admittance to the hospital as needed.
The Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) III provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Services department, coordinating care with other disciplines to address the psychosocial, physical, and overall needs of patients. This role involves prioritizing care based on patients' physical and psychosocial requirements, as well as factors affecting patient flow through the system. The RPN III communicates effectively with Emergency Services physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic study results. Additionally, the RPN III responds promptly and accurately to changes in patients' conditions or responses to treatment and undertakes other assigned duties.
