Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer and well-honed mixology skills, as well as customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for discussing and recommending our beers, crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and handling cash accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience is mandatory.
- Passion and knowledge of craft beer and/or brewing is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of retail math to manage transactions effectively.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
