Elementary Teacher Position at Gustave Eiffel Academy
Gustave Eiffel Academy is seeking a dynamic and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our vibrant educational team for the upcoming school year. The position is for an August start, with the beginning of employment on August 10 and the first day of classes on August 17.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning and is skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. In our trilingual learning environment (French, English, and Spanish), the teacher will play a key role in developing students’ English language skills while promoting multicultural awareness and inclusion. Most of our students are native English speakers and perform at grade level.
Teaching Responsibilities
- 5 hours of English Language Arts (ELA) – Grade 1
- 5 hours of ELA – Grade 2
- 5 hours of Math – Grades 3–4
- 5 hours of Social Studies/Science – Grades 1–2-3-4

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that address a variety of learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English language learning across subject areas.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Incorporate technology and interactive resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to strengthen teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education (strongly preferred and highly valued) or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field required.
- Valid teaching certification in English/Language Arts for Grades 1–5 (preferred).
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and strategies for diverse learners.
- Familiarity with culturally responsive teaching practices and inclusive education.
- Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
