Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting with product selections based on individual needs and preferences
- Educate customers about various products through engaging demos and detailed explanations, ensuring they understand effects, usage, and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing cash drawers with accuracy
- Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
- Conduct product demos to educate customers on new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information remotely, representing the store professionally at all times
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and conducting stock counts to ensure product availability
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar customer-focused environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members alike
- Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
- Experience with product demos or educational presentations enhances your ability to inform and inspire customers effectively
