Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Worker/Order Selector at our meter reading services company, you are a critical part of the logistics chain that ensures utility meters are read accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and configuring the specialized equipment used by our field technicians.
Responsibilities:
Order Selection & Fulfillment:
- Locate and pick specialized inventory, including handheld meter reading units, communication devices, batteries, power banks, vehicle cradles, and related accessories.
- Sensitive electronic equipment with extreme care to prevent damage.
Equipment Management & Configuration:
- Assist in the process of charging, syncing, and preparing handheld units for daily data transfer.
- Receive, inspect, and process equipment returns from field technicians at the end of their shifts.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Prepare equipment for shipment to remote technicians or other company locations, ensuring secure packaging.
- Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles or vans at the start and end of shifts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
Basic computer skills.
Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $21.79 - $25.86 per hour
