Remote Criminal & Traffic Law Associate (Contract Position – Tenneessee Bar Licensed)
**Must be a Tennessee Attorney**
We are a small, three-attorney firm with a steady flow of criminal and traffic law cases throughout Tenneessee.
We’re currently seeking a motivated, Tenneessee-licensed associate attorney to join our team on a contract basis, paid per case. Appearances in Court required, but we work hard to keep them at a minimum for any case.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build experience, enjoy flexible remote work, and earn based on performance.
Typical Case Earnings:
- Contract attorney gets 1/3 of the fee, traffic tickets are typically billed on a flat fee between $1100–$3500 (1/3 of $1100 is $363-$1155 per case for (1) arraignment and (2) negotiated plea, depending on the seriousness of the offense.
- If trial is needed, you get a trial fee bonus. We just hold the state to their burden of proof.
- Many appearances, especially arraignments, can be waived or handled remotely
About the Role:
- Practice Area: Criminal defense and traffic law
- Location: Fully remote in Tenneessee
- Compensation: 1/3 of collected fees, off the top, per case, paid upon case closure
- Case Volume: Consistent flow of cases, ranging from simple traffic tickets to DWIs and more serious offenses
