Overview
We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator to join our corrugated warehouse team. In this role, you will operate and monitor corrugated converting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products while maintaining production efficiency and meeting customer specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust corrugated manufacturing and converting equipment to ensure quality and production standards are met.
- Set up machines for production runs by loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing test runs.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints/job order cards.
- Excellent organizational skills & the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent to semi-frequent basis.
- Ability to pass a short math test, read measurements on a ruler, and pass an assembly test.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating corrugated manufacturing or converting equipment is preferred.
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift hours.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
