Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Gadsden, AL 35901
Shift: 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate:
- Local Candidates (Within 50 Miles): $67/hour (Negotiable)
- Travel Candidates: $75/hour (Negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare, operate, and maintain Cath Lab equipment.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring.
- Ensure patient safety by following established clinical protocols and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedure records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Respond efficiently in emergency situations and support advanced cardiac procedures.
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification with state licensure as required or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular/Cath Lab preferred.
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Strong computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Pay: $67.00 - $75.00 per hour
