Job Overview
American Guard Services (AGS) is currently hiring reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service and a visible security presence at a retail location.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional security presence at assigned retail locations
- Monitor premises and observe for safety, security, and policy violations
- Conduct regular patrols and report any suspicious activity
- Assist with incident response and complete detailed reports when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
- Follow all company and client safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must have strong communication and observation skills
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work flexible schedules
Schedule Availability
Open availability is preferred. Shifts are available Sunday through Saturday, including both morning and evening shifts.
