Project Manager/Engineer
DaRam Engineers Inc is an engineering firm looking for a competent engineer with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with a focus on structure, and knowledge of engineering and construction competence to perform the duties of a Project Manager including with the responsibilities listed below.
- Analysis and review of land survey reports, maps, architecture plans and other data to plan projects.
- Plan, design, and draw structures in line with the industry and municipality requirements.
- Utilize design software as required to achieve engineering goals.
- Provide Customer Support for engineering customers.
- Outside field work as needed as well as meetings with building officials.
- Supervise and Perform structural design work depending work load and need.
- Guide the staff engineers/designers to perform the work in accordance with engineering practices
- Must have at least seven (7) years of direct structural engineering experience. Working knowledge of building codes and experience with Steel & Concrete design. Wood design is useful but is simple to learn. We will expect ready answers during an interview for detailed issues and typical design & code requirements including engineering details.
- Must have a PE License to practice in the State of Texas and will be required to sign/seal the work that you perform or supervise. We expect this position will begin project work independently.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
