Part-Time Grill Cook / Cashier
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Grill Cook/Cashier to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for preparing quality food, providing outstanding customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in creating a great experience for our members and guests.
Schedule Requirements
- Part-time
- Monday through Friday availability is required
- Must also be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be available to work closing and opening shifts.
- 11am-8pm operating hours
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and food safety standards.
- Operate the grill, fryer, pizza oven, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Take member and guest orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the POS system and process cash and credit card transactions.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining, and service areas.
- Restock food, beverages, paper products, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work as a team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Help with inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, snack bar, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- California Food Handler Card
