Successful candidate will be proficient in hazardous waste identification, generators’ requirements, and responsibilities for RCRA/hazwaste generation and storage, and have full understanding of DOT guidelines for shipping hazmat/hazwaste materials. Experience working at a RCRA permitted Part B Hazardous Waste Storage Facility preferred. Working knowledge of performing regulatory inspections at a Large Quantity Generator of hazwaste site, and preparing regulated waste for shipment strongly preferred.
Candidate must:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be able to wear a respirator, protective clothing, and hearing & eye protection
- Be current in RCRA/HW, HAZWOPER, and DOT training
- Be able to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs
- Have some computer skills (MS Office)
- Be able to pass federal background check.
- Be able to use public transportation (parking is not available).
