Project Engineer — Bridges & Heavy Highway Seattle Metro Area
Max J. Kuney Co. is hiring Project Engineers for bridge and heavy highway work in the Seattle area. We are looking for both recent graduates and experienced professionals who want to build a career in project management and stay in the Pacific Northwest.
EIT or PE preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
- Background in bridge design, transportation, or steel design preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- CAD or MicroStation experience a plus
What You Will Do
- Coordinate QA inspections with field crews, subcontractors, and the owner
- Manage permits in coordination with the City and the design team
- Support project closeout — warranties, O&Ms, closeout documentation, and Buy America compliance
- Host and manage punchlist sessions in Bluebeam
A Plus
- Scheduling experience
- Estimating experience
- Strong organization and decision-making skills
