General Statement:
The Network and Security Administrator performs technical work in the daily operation, monitoring, support, and maintenance of the City’s network, security tools, and related systems. The primary scope of the position is to ensure stable network and security operations, perform routine administration, address helpdesk escalations related to connectivity and security, and maintain documentation. Other duties include desktop support functions in conjunction with other members of the IT department. The Network and Security Administrator provides recommendations to the Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, and IT Director to support the best possible network and security posture. This role focuses on operational responsibilities rather than design and engineering.
This full-time onsite position offers a competitive salary range of $63,000-$85,000, based on qualifications and experience, along with an excellent benefits package.
Supervision Received:
The position works under the supervision of the IT Director. Tasks may be coordinated with the Network Engineer and Systems Engineer.
