Schedule: Morning, daytime, weekend, and event-based shifts as needed
Job Summary
The Cedric Frazier Experience Brand is hiring a Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, organizing food items, following recipes, and helping ensure the kitchen is ready for smooth service. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and eager to grow in a professional culinary environment.
Responsibilities
Wash, cut, measure, portion, and prepare ingredients.
Follow prep lists, recipes, and kitchen production standards.
Label, date, store, and rotate food properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area.
Assist line cooks and kitchen leadership as needed.
Prepare sauces, sides, proteins, vegetables, and other menu components.
Help receive, organize, and store deliveries.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
Support event and catering prep as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred.
Basic knife skills and knowledge of food preparation.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Standard Work Schedule:
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Consistency and reliability with this schedule is highly preferred.
