We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded Veterinary Technician with a strong foundation in patient care, including exam room appointments, drop-offs, hospitalized cases, and surgical/dental procedures. Previous surgery experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience performing dental prophylaxis and taking dental radiographs—but we are happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and grow.

What you'll be doing:
- Safely restraining patients using low-stress handling techniques
- Performing radiographs (including dental x-rays preferred)
- Preparing for and assisting with surgeries and dental procedures
- Performing venipuncture and placing IV catheters
- Maintaining accurate and thorough electronic medical records
- Obtaining patient histories and educating clients on common pet health concerns
- Supporting front desk operations, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Cleaning enclosures and assisting with feeding and walking hospitalized pets
A few things to know:
- At least 1 year of surgical assisting experience is preferred (but we’re happy to train the right candidate)
- This is a full-time role with weekday shifts until 6:30 PM and rotating Saturdays (typically 8 AM – 12 PM, with occasional later departures depending on patient care needs)
- The role requires safely handling and assisting with patients of all sizes (including large dogs), using proper low-stress handling techniques, team support, and equipment as needed, and being on your feet for most of the day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
