Position Overview:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to recipe and menu requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assisting with tray service and plating of meals
- Ensuring that all food is served promptly and to the residents' satisfaction
- Collaborating with dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals
- Maintaining accurate records of food preparation and inventory
Cook Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Nursing Home Cook or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull food carts and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
