Restaurant Manager
Hungry Bowl – Bowie, Maryland
Hungry Bowl is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and help deliver excellent food and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise, train, and motivate servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and other team members.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Manage employee schedules, attendance, and shift assignments.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and product availability.
- Control labor costs, food costs, waste, and other operating expenses.
- Ensure restaurant policies and procedures are followed consistently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance management.
- Work closely with ownership and management to improve sales and restaurant performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
