The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the region’s daily activities to promote GT&E’s rental business.
Answer rental customer phone calls, emails and walk-in requests
Open, maintain and close rental contracts
Process paperwork (rental, demo, and loan)
Coordinate the dispatch of equipment (rental, demo, loan and branch transfers)
Create service requests (Get Ready Requests) for equipment to service department
Invoice rental billings to customers for assigned locations.
Close contracts
Scan all final rental contracts into eXtend system
Maintain Freight Log and process all freight bills for A/P payments and/or invoicing to the customer
Process inter-branch transfers
Insurance Certificates (update system via Track Cert)
Assist with the equipment display and positioning in the yard. (loading & unloading of equipment)
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years previous customer service or sales administrative experience, including experience with shipping methods & procedures
Minium of 3 years previous sales/rental administrator experience preferred in heavy equipment industry or related industry
Occasional lifting of 20-50 pounds
Occasional operation of construction equipment in order to help load/unload from transport carriers, or to move/display in yard

Good computer and systems knowledge
A working knowledge of heavy construction equipment functions and applications
