Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Prepare simple food items following food safety standards and maintain cleanliness of workstations, including sanitation and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ensure quick and efficient service by bussing tables, managing food service customer orders, and supporting food preparation when needed.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols, food handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, or food safety management is desirable.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Retail or grocery store experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.
