As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will:
Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) with the daily management of the Nursing Department.
Help oversee 24-hour clinical operations within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.
Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and company regulations.
Coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families.
Participate in admissions and evaluate prospective residents as needed.
Monitor clinical quality measures, infection prevention, wound prevention, documentation, and resident outcomes.
Assist with staffing, scheduling, employee coaching, performance management, and staff development.
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Attend daily clinical meetings and leadership meetings.
Serve as acting Director of Nursing during the DON's absence.
Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on quality care and teamwork.
Current Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
Five years of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or acute care preferred.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, CMS regulations, and state survey processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
