What You'll Do
As Laboratory Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our laboratory while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and quality performance. You'll lead a talented laboratory team while partnering closely with physicians, nursing, and hospital leadership to support outstanding clinical care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop laboratory staff
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, state, and federal regulatory standards
- Oversee quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Manage departmental budgeting, purchasing, and financial performance
- Maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and competency programs
- Support implementation of new laboratory technology and testing capabilities
- Collaborate with administration on equipment planning and capital purchases
- Oversee laboratory information systems, reference testing, and outreach services
- Participate as a member of the hospital leadership team in strategic planning and organizational improvement initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification required
- Previous laboratory leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Broad knowledge of clinical laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
