Job Overview
Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations. Responsible for picking up and delivering products/freight undamaged in a timely and courteous manner.ful impact while honing your driving and communication skills in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle before and at the end of the shift and report any
problems or damage to management
- Complete a daily driver’s truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at the end of the day
- Comply with all DOT and company regulations, rules, and policies
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes and routines, so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
- Provide good customer service in every interaction with clients and the public
- Perform other related duties as required
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to read road maps/GPS
- Ability to adhere to and comply with DOT/Company rules and regulations
- Ability to work logically and systematically
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and chart deliveries safely and with care accordingly
- Ability to handle impromptu issues/problems with or without a direct supervisor
- Always maintain a positive attitude with Customers and co-workers
- Related work experience in warehousing and administration

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
