Summary
The Arc of the Emerald Coast is seeking motivated Mobile Work Crew & Rest Area Attendants to join our team at the Okaloosa Rest Areas on I-10. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining clean and safe environments on our state roadways, supporting our mission to serve those with disabilities effectively.
Hiring for Crew Member:
6am-2pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform highway litter pick up in accordance with FDOT standards.
- Properly dispose of waste at approved facilities.
- Support industrial and commercial cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain FDOT safety standards while working on state roadways.
- Maintain productivity to ensure efficient operations.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous equipment functionality.
- Uphold the organization’s commitment to a clean and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience operating a Gator 4x2 is preferable.
- Prior porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude aligned with the organization’s mission of service.
