The DOT Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations for our internal customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Ensure compliance and stay abreast to changes with all DOT regulations.
Prepare and review reports as part of the process of monitoring and communicating DOT performance results.
Maintain all electronic and hard-copy driver qualification files.
Conduct internal annual compliance reviews and self-audits.
Assist drivers with licensing, medical evaluation, certification processes, conduct and coordinate driver certifications and annual reviews.
Maintain new hire information, including but not limited to conducting background and employment history checks.
Accept external complaint calls and initiate investigations for reported driving behaviors.
Maintain or make edits to Hours of Service (driver) logs as requested by drivers.
Receive, process and maintain citations for all Company drivers.
Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Knowledge of DOT regulations/laws.
- Ability to work with public government agencies, internal customers and external parties.
- Ability to address external party complaints and seek resolution or compromise with dissatisfied callers.
- Prior experience with employer DOT compliance.
- Ability to read, comprehend, research and communicate information from regulatory material, guidance documents and other related publications.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows- or web-based software applications.
