About the position...
The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the bidding process for assigned construction projects. This role reviews project plans and specifications, performs quantity takeoffs, and collaborates with Project Managers, Subcontractors, Vendors, Ownership, and key stakeholders to develop competitive proposals to drive projects forward.
What we are looking for from you...

Must have a valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial and/or residential/multi-family construction estimating

Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals is required

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents

Proficient in technology and programs including Microsoft Office and Adobe

Experience with construction management, estimating, and takeoff software is required – Bluebeam experience is a plus

Must possess a strong understanding of modern construction methods, materials, and building codes

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Must possess highly effective verbal and written communication skills
