Currently, we are offering a spot here at Phoenix Rope & Cordage in Perrysburg Ohio. These positions are in our warehouse and production area where we ship bulk rope to customers in addition to making custom assemblies and doing rope cut to length.
We are a fairly small company with a casual atmosphere and have a lot of fun at work. The nice thing about working here is the fact that you aren't going to be smothered by obnoxious management or overbearing corporate policies. We certainly work hard but you will have a day that starts right at 8:00 AM and is done at 4:30 PM sharp with a 30 minute lunch break.
So here is what you would be doing here at your new job.
- Managing cut to length jobs in our production line
- Helping do custom assemblies by installing our special rope clamps on rope hooks or snaps.
- Running our spooler machine to unspool large spools of rope to smaller spools.
This is a manual labor job that will require being on your feet most of the day. Some of the production custom assembly jobs do facilitate sitting, however much of the time you will be standing or moving around the shop on various tasks.
