Job Summary
We are a tight-knit cannabis operation based in Colorado Springs running a Tier One cultivation facility alongside our manufacturing lab and dispensary. We are looking for an experienced, passionate Grow Hand to be the ultimate support system for our cultivation department. Our head grower needs a reliable right-hand to take ownership of the daily plant maintenance and facility upkeep, allowing them to focus entirely on METRC compliance, cloning, transplanting, and harvesting. If you love working with the plant, take pride in a spotless grow room, and thrive in a supportive team environment where everyone pitches in, we want you on our team.
Schedule
- Hours: Part-time, Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (25 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Plant Care: Execute daily watering schedules and routine defoliation to ensure optimal plant health.
- Facility Maintenance & Cleaning: Take pride in a clean workspace. You will be responsible for daily sweeping, scrubbing, sanitizing trays, and general grow room upkeep.
- Ultimate Support Role: Act as the primary assistant to the head grower, anticipating needs and helping wherever possible to keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly.
- Observation: Keep a close eye on plant health, reporting any signs of pests, deficiencies, or issues immediately to the head grower.
- Physical Labor: Handle the heavy lifting, moving soil/coco, hauling waste, and prepping rooms for flip or harvest.
Requirements
- Must possess an active Colorado MED badge.
- Previous commercial experience as a plant handler/grow hand (you should know your way around a commercial canopy).
- A "no task is too small" attitude. You must be highly motivated to help the team succeed and willing to tackle daily cleaning with as much effort as plant care.
- Physical stamina—ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in varied grow room climates.
- Great communication skills and a team-player mentality.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- How many years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience do you have?
- A successful grow requires just as much cleaning as it does plant care. In this role, you will be balancing plant upkeep (watering, defoliating) with daily repetitive tasks like scrubbing, sweeping, and sanitizing. How do you stay motivated when handling the heavy cleaning and smaller daily tasks required in a commercial facility?
