Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills, including math and language development
- Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being of each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback and support as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet educational objectives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Experience in classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children with special needs or developmental delays
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and licensing requirements
- Passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential
Note: Early childhood education degree or relevant certification is preferred.
