We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, including engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake failures
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and make accurate repairs
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure proper assembly and transmission of vehicle components
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts for repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Experience in auto body repair, auto estimating, or brake repair is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
