As an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an important role in helping ensure patients receive the medications they need safely, accurately, and on time. You'll collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment while gaining valuable experience in inpatient pharmacy practice.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:

Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Support medication preparation and compounding activities following established standards and procedures.

Deliver medications throughout the hospital and replenish automated dispensing cabinets.

Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies.

Maintain accurate documentation and medication records within pharmacy systems.

Assist in ensuring compliance with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental policies.

Work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to support outstanding patient care across the hospital.
What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least one year of pharmacy technician experience required.

Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
-
Experience working in a healthcare, retail, outpatient, or hospital pharmacy environment.

Interest in growing a career within hospital pharmacy and pediatric healthcare.
