Evolve Engineering and Software is looking to hire an Deburring/Tapping/Final Operations/Inspection person. We’re growing rapidly and are moving quickly to hire qualified candidates. Our ideal candidate will have experience working and learning in final operations deburr work (3+ years, ideally 5+) and measuring parts. The ideal candidate will have good hand/eye coordination in order to handle small parts and small tools. Tapping #2-56 holes in steel is common. The ideal candidate will also be asked to double-check machinist measurements, perform quality assurance and final inspection work as they grow into their role. This role involves measuring parts, tapping holes, deburring, installing helicoils, finish drill with drill press, filing and sandpapering parts prior being shipped to customers. The ideal candidate will have adequate manual dexterity to work with their hands the whole day. Experience with measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc) is considered a plus, but can be taught for the appropriate candidate.
Job description, not limited to:
- Measuring machined parts
- Perform final hand machining (tapping holes, deburring, installing helicoils) on metal and plastic machined parts
- Help with general cleaning of parts
- Help with general cleaning as time allows
Our pay structure is dependent on your experience level. More experienced = higher starting pay rate. Our pay range for this position is $18 - $28/hr. The less we have to teach you, the better. We are a growing engineering, software, and machining company, so experience in mechanical engineering, machining, measurement, etc is a plus and will be compensated thusly.
