Mind Games is an after-school board game company dedicated to providing engaging and educational experiences for elementary school students. We believe in the power of play to enhance learning and foster critical thinking skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Playologist (board game instructor). As a Playologist, you will lead after-school board game classes for elementary school students in grades kindergarten - 5th grade. All materials are provided, and you will be responsible for creating a fun and enriching environment where students and learn and play.
This is a PART TIME position, from approximately 1:45pm-3:15pm, four-five days a week at local Palm Beach County elementary schools. We are looking to fill positions in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton areas for the 2026-2027 school year. The position pays $45-$50 PER CLASS depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead board game classes
Present lessons
Manage classroom of up to 24 students.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Arrive at the class by 1:45pm to prepare.
Stay until all students are dismissed, around 3:15pm
REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to be cleared through the Palm Beach County School District as a vendor.
Flexible schedule
Ability to get up and down from the floor
Commit for at least 4-5 afternoon classes
Experience working in elementary education classrooms.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
Able to engage and inspire students.
Must be able to lift 20lbs-30lbs
