Needed: Maintenance Technician for an open role in Franklin, OH!
- Pay: Up to $25/hr ( pay is based on experience)
- Shift: M-Thur // 6a - 4:30 pm (Overtime possible on Fridays)
Consideration Requirements:
- MUST pass a criminal background check
- MUST pass a drug screening
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic knowledge of general building, facility, mechanical, or equipment maintenance preferred
- Previous experience with basic repairs, hand tools, automotive repair, construction, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred but not required
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial maintenance
Duty Requirements:
- Assist the Maintenance Technician with routine maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Perform basic facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, hardware replacement, and general building repairs
- Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Assist with diagnosing equipment problems, replacing components, testing repairs, and making basic adjustments
- Assist with emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs as needed
- Read and follow equipment manuals, work orders, schematics, and maintenance instructions
- Learn and follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before performing maintenance or repairs
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, material-handling equipment, and other maintenance equipment
- Inspect equipment and facility areas for maintenance or safety concerns and report issues to the appropriate supervisor
Physical Requirements:
- Onsite vision test may be required (near and far distance) upon hiring
- Able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
- Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, climb etc
- Able to work at heights.
- Able to work safely with hazardous chemicals and wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Extended hours are required during peak workloads or special projects.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
