Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will depend on the assignment and facility but may include:
- Providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care
- Completing patient assessments and developing plans of care
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring patient conditions and communicating changes to the care team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Following facility policies, clinical procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Supporting a positive experience for patients, families, and facility staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- At least one year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred
- Additional certifications may be required depending on the specialty and assignment
- Ability to complete required background checks, drug screening, health requirements, and credentialing
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Compact nursing licenses and nurses holding licenses in multiple states are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Compensation generally ranges from $55.00 to $70.00 per hour.
Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, specialty, location, shift, experience, contract requirements, and applicable local market conditions. Additional assignment-specific compensation or reimbursements may be available and will be discussed before accepting an assignment.
