Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and more using hand tools and power tools.
- Install new appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards, ensuring proper electrical, plumbing, and mechanical connections.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
- Utilize ladder use and equipment troubleshooting skills to access hard-to-reach areas and resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for delivery, installation, or service calls while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or maintenance with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and electrical work.
- Familiarity with reading schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical repairs related to household appliances.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment necessary for appliance installation and repair.
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Previous delivery driver experience is a plus for coordinating on-site installations or pickups.
