Duties
- Provide a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion and laser procedures.
- Perform nail care services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail art using color theory principles.
- Conduct eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and other skincare treatments while adhering to salon safety protocols.
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures for all tools and work areas to ensure client safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments or products, and upsell retail items confidently.
- Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, nail art, and skincare techniques to offer innovative services.
- Support retail sales efforts by educating clients on product benefits and promoting additional services to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, nail care, and skincare treatments.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, disinfection procedures, salon safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in performing advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and body waxing preferred.
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with retail math principles to support sales goals and client recommendations.
