Key Responsibilities:

Performs general cleaning and custodial duties in common areas of the building that may include but are not limited to the following:
-
Sanitizing, disinfecting, dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming.

Washing, waxing, and polishing floors.
-
Completes trash disposal and recycling management.
-
Practices safe use of cleaning chemicals when mixing and preparing cleaning solutions according to specifications.

Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities, reports deficiencies to supervisor.

Operates cleaning equipment like floor buffer and other advanced cleaning equipment.
-
Stock and maintain supply rooms while supporting sustainment of 5S implementation/continuous quality improvment; documents and/or notifies dept supervisor on supplies needed.

Completes daily checklist and submits to appropriate personnel.

Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing trainings as needed.

Report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and incidents using the established procedure.

Utilize best practice problem solving to aid in streamlining workflows, finding solutions, and better serve the team and HFBG.

Adheres to established workflows, processes, procedures, best practices, and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:·

1 year of custodial or janitorial experience preferred
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to take pride in reliable, detail‑oriented work.

Reliable transportation.
A plus, but not required:

Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment.

Bilingual in English and Spanish
