Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinical standards
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly using electronic medical records
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in providing care across the lifespan from infants to elderly patients
- Proficiency in suturing and minor procedures
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and documentation standards
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with dermal fillers and other cosmetic procedures is advantageous
