Position Overview
We are currently seeking a warm, skilled, and flexible licensed mental health therapist to provide school-based therapy services within the Riverdale School District. This position will primarily support students, while collaborating closely with families, educators, and student services staff to support student well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy to students in the school setting
- Conduct family and group therapy sessions as needed
- Collaborate with school counselors, teachers, administrators, and student services teams to support student success
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, flexibility and a collaborative spirit in all interactions
- Engage families in treatment planning and support progress towards treatment goals
- Participate in school-based collaboration and in IEP/504 meetings as appropriate
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments as appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
- Participate in individual and group supervision to support professional development and high-quality client care
- Follow all applicable legal, ethical and professional requirements related to safety, mandated reporting and suspected abuse or neglect
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate occasional before, after-school or evening intake appointments
- Travel between schools within the district as needed
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Active Wisconsin licensure preferred (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT); clinicians in training are also welcome to apply but candidate status required
- Experience working with children and adolescents in schools or similar settings preferred
- Strong trauma-informed and culturally responsive care approach
- Ability to pass school district background check
