Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing timely, caring, appropriate, and skilled physical therapy intervention by evaluating/assessing, planning, goal setting, providing treatment and assessing the patient’s response to treatment for patients of all ages. The Physical Therapist, working as a member of the interdisciplinary team collaborates and coordinates treatment plan and goals with other disciplines including Nurses, Physicians, et al.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited University that is recognized by the APTA required.
- Graduate of an accredited University with a B.A., M.A., or M.S., in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA for licenses prior to October 25, 2024.
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- BLS recommended for inpatient PT.
- BLS required for SMART Center PT.
License/Certifications
- New York State license in Physical Therapy or eligible for same.
