Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida. As a Per Diem Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and achieve their optimal level of function and well-being.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat residents with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments to facilitate optimal independence and functioning
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each resident's unique needs and goals
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and communication
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress
Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote optimal health and well-being
Requirements
Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and team members
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address resident needs
